Iceland

Arrived a few hours ago after a good journey. It's surprising how quickly the time goes.
We drove through different landscapes and through an extremely long tunnel , the Dartford tunnel is nothing compared to this one of just over 3.5 miles long http://en.m.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hvalfjörður_Tunnel
We are staying in Borgarnes in the West of Iceland. The accomodation is very comfortable with the view of the mountains seen here.
The roads have a few more potholes than at home and it's strange driving on the opposite side of the Road. I guess I'll get used to it :)
Drizzle with gusts of wind but drying out, patches of snow and icebergs nearby !
Oh and on the flight with Icelandair we were given an Icelandic Easter Egg, very tasty with a little paper message inside :)
