Train Spotter
Back blip....on Thursday I had a day in London for a friend's big birthday lunch. This was good timing as I could accompany Rob's Dad on the train and see him safely on his way on the tube before heading to Covent Garden. I took the Hammersmith and City line from Paddington and was amazed to travel on these carriage-less trains which I haven't encountered before.
I tried to get a shot to show you that you can see right down the train. In my thumbnail you can see the Indicator panel for three carriages and at one point I could see six of them! No separators between the carriages though. This means you could walk right down the train without having to open doors and pass between carriages with the train line visible between your feet.
A lovely lunch and a new experience.
