A glorious Easter Sunday; blue skies, no real wind and warm!
We spent the afternoon on the sea cliffs a few miles up the coast at the Bullers O'Buchan. O what a glorious sight, as Robbie Burns would have said; a calm blue sea, rugged cliffs with nesting guillemots, razorbills, kittiwakes, fulmars, puffins and shags, grassy slopes covered in scurvy grass, celandines and primroses. And the cherry on the cake, a close fly past by the Bond Search and Rescue helicopter.
Every silver lining has a cloud and ours has now arrived in the form of a thick bank of haar (sea fog) that is all-enveloping. The usual end to a warm day hereabouts!
