The 1st of April was the first day of my new challenge, walking away from my career of 12 years. It seems crazy that on a really good wage the reality of two lots of childcare and on going cuts to local council made this the easiest and most logical decision. Exciting mostly. Scary occasionally.

It was lovely though to go to Tynemouth today, we've never really gravitated there...too much like work. But its a gorgeous part of the world. Especially now its about play! And we played, T and Ad built sandcastles and we had lunch in Mat's coffee house, Cullercoats Coffee. Mat left last year. Its good to see life going well for him.
