Flowers and rushing water

Japanese Quince against a river up in Mossett, running down to the valley.  Mossett is a small village with a very fine castle on the way to our nearest col, the Col de Jau at just over 1500 m.  It's funny to think that it is higher than anything we have in the UK.

Had a quandary about what to focus on here, and decided that the branch was the point.  I think I was right.
