Hands Down
We worked quite a lot today. Painting the living room (second coat) and my roller was more of a sharer than a roller. Millions of tiny spots every where - I even managed to get an almost perfect white Bindi. It was a lot of paint.
When our Hired Help stripped the wallpaper, we gave him one of those rollers with little pins in. This makes it easier for the wallpaper to absorb water and makes it easier to strip off. The trick with that is not to press so hard that you go through the paper and into the wall.
Our Hired Help had gone through into the wall. And there were thousands of what looked like tiny holes. I thought that our paint would simply cover them over and you'd never see them.
I thought wrong. These apparently tiny holes could swallow loads of paint and could only be filled when you painted from a particular direction (which was never the same twice).
Still, we're finished (in the living room) now. Still have tonnes to do though.
Not tonight though. Tonight I'm just going to sit and ache.
