Easter Egg Hunt

Unbelievable yo be so warm - scorchio! Far too hot to eat a full roast lamb Sunday lunch - but we managed. Although I'm no longer a vegetarian, I was for 20 years after #3 daughter refused meat when she heard about battery farming aged 8, so I am not experienced at cooking it now. We prefer veggie food anyway, but the lamb was very good. I was shocked at how expensive meat is.

After lunch we had the egg hunt. Thomas, 2, Ella, 3, and Nathaniel, 1, found the eggs, and enjoyed them. Ella had to show her little brother how to go about eating one. He still seems to prefer broccoli and wandered off to dig in the sandpit. James is almost 6 months so had a big of baby porridge today. We all enjoyed our day - the family has gone home - now I'm going to sit in the garden in the sun with a drink.
