Happy Eyester
The word Easter comes from the ancient goddess of fertility Ishtar (pronounced East-ar). Around the World, in the Northern hemisphere, it is a time of awakening in nature and the celebration of the fertility of life with symbols such as rabbits and eggs, lambs and chicks. In Iceland we celebrate by giving each other chocolate eggs with chicks on them and filled with candy. Every egg must also include an ancient proverb. This year I got; the one with the most sence must give way for others.
