Dying Eggs

We had an early Easter celebration today.  We colored these eggs by wrapping men's silk ties around the egg and boiling them in water.   Everyone was gathered around as we unwrapped the fabric to see how looked.  Great fun.
I had time to mess with the eggs because I decided to have our dinner catered.  Best idea ever!  We had great food (delivered!) and no stress in the kitchen. All I had to do was set the table and throw together a salad.  The left-overs will last us all week!
