A good find

Had a relaxed wander round the big charity shop in town with Mme A and spotted a box full of Aubrey-Maturin novels. I've read all 20 of them, mainly borrowed from the library, so I chose the best five that they had so I can re-read them. With them was "The Golden Ocean", set 70 years before the main series and one I've not read so I bought that, too. They are a wonderful series of books, and I'll be forever grateful to a PhD student of mine who introduced me to them.

Otherwise, it was a long day [due to Miss K leaving early for her ski trip] but without doing very much in particular, which was welcome after a few very busy and stressful weeks.
