doin' it for the kids

our printer is out of ink...so we went old school tonight and wrote out about 30 of these notes for daisy to hand out to her classmates tomorrow.

last summer we challenged the kids to make a film called 'my granda's a zombie' and after initial reluctance, they all went for it, filming my dad and their granda without him knowing. they made this...and gave it to him for his 65th birthday.

then they entered it into a scottish film competition called we are northern lights. they now need as many votes as possible to win and they are up against some quite professional films by students in edinburgh. wouldn't it be great if our kids won though...a small summer challenge winning a huge prize? that kind if thing could have a big influence on a kid...
