Tate modern
went up to town today for the day.it was a great day out, weather stayed bright.we had lunch by the river and then took in a copious amount of modern art, which received mixed views from members of our party, from 'great' to 'ugh, not more art?'! it was my dad's first visit toTate..he enjoyed it at any rate.
They are extending the buildings, adding a new building behind the old power station one.
We walked over the millennium footbridge and enjoyed seeing the miniature paintings on the discarded chewing gum there! Look out (down) for it if you go that way.
We walked to covent garden and on to Chinatown where we had dinner.
A fine day out.
