Brass Band

Over the Easter weekend, The Harrogate International Youth Festival (HIYF) of  Music & Performing Arts takes place.
Various groups of participants from near and far perform a variety of different types of music at various indoor and outdoor venues in and around the town of Harrogate.
Today it kicked off with a noisy procession through the town. This group is called Thurmaston Marching Brass, and its members come from the scout and guide movement. Following the procession through the town centre, they gathered for a photo shoot in front of the war memorial. They were a jolly lot, but couldn't stand still for very long at all.
