a busy, productive and wonderful day.

made yummy galettes for breakfast, washed the car, made cake.

then off for claire's surprise baby shower! hilarious to hear how gullible she had been while every else was busy scheming. good to see some old friends and meet some new ones and celebrate claire and her bump. it's weird to think of somebody who you've been friends with since you were seven becoming a mummy. i'm pretty sure we are not grown ups yet. some fun quizzes and more cake in one room than i've ever seen before in my life. prefect. i think the boys were arriving later in the afternoon to finish the leftovers.

(these three have been friends since they weren't much older than claire's bump and we all had some fun together during high school. i'm pretty sure there are still videos as evidence).
