BSPS Winter Champs

Such an emotionally draining day.
Took Sky to compete in a qualifying round for the Royal International Horse Show.

She went well, tried her heart out for us and was a little star. She was ridden by a friend who is very successful and will ride her all season for us. We prefer to groom them!

We were unplaced but we don't care.
We don't care because she is at home in her stable and happy.
As we loaded Sky, a horse in a wagon behind ours was in obvious discomfort. The Vet was called for and treated him.
Within minutes the situation deteriorated and he had a heart attack and died.
I could not be more proud of my girls. They both ran to help as I moved in to take the owners children to a place from where they could not see the trauma.
Sky was amazing too as she stood in the trailer as screens were called for.
We couldn't leave until the screens replaced our trailer as a barrier.
Give your loved one an extra hug tonight. We know not what tomorrow brings.
