Running On Empties

The guy staring into the bin hopefully is looking for empty bottles or drinks cans. There is a 1 krone deposit to be had on most cans and bottles of drink (except wines & spirits) and a common sight around Denmark are the collectors who make a living out of this. We took our empties back to the supermarket today and gave the money to Gabrielle.
