Neglected

With study and work comes a sad fact that the house has been neglected. Inside is generally ok and comfy but outside needs lots of work. I am starting with washing down the woodwork. I have done about half of it and plan to carry on till the light fades. I've put stuff that needs taking to the dump on the drive (hidden so as not to annoy the neighbours) and hope to prioritise that.

MrH has been constructing a device to chop wood on for his wood burner and then chain-sawing said wood.

I hope to tidy the front door area tomorrow. It has a rotting old fireplace by it, lots of ivy and pavement that needs a deep clean. How has it got this bad?

Bit of a naff day sadly but I bought my sweet pea plants so that's some enjoyment to look forward to! Planting them out lets me know summer is but a few weeks away!
