Green in black and white

I took this photo because the light was beautiful and the new green was perfect....and yet somehow I still liked it better in black and white. Go figure.

Nice day - always good to get the boys back home with me. They had football practice and Diesel and I went for a walk and mowed the lawn....otherwise it has been homework and some Modern Family here this evening :-)

I made a commitment to something today - I have been thinking a lot lately about how I should be using the car less....but finding it hard to do much about it. Well, today I biked to work and to the grocery store....and decided that I am going to try to have 122 car-free days this next year. That is, on average, every third day without the car. I will try to do as much of it as possible during the warmer months because in the winter it is quite difficult...but Im really going to give it a try. I even posted it on Facebook so that I couldn't change my mind :-) I will keep you all posted :-)
