G1 and G2

We had a lovely daft day with our two eldest grandchildren who are now splendid teenagers.  We promised not to splatter their photos all over blip and fb, which is fair repayment for their letting themselves be seen in the company of a grandma who insists on demonstrating the charleston swivel in a public place and a grandpa who is incorrigible!

Thus it comes about that today's blip is a plant which has some resemblance to a euphorbia but which probably isn't.  Any ideas?
