Back Blip

Just 3 mins round the corner from the hotel. It's a very busy street and in the photo here the Nile is on the other side of the street from these men. Just beyond them is a stretch of trendy cafes with tables on the street.

The first day of the course went well. I always....well, usually....feel better after the first day's over and when I've met all the trainees. This course we have 10, six females and four males with ages from 23 to a young 67 year old. On the first day we do getting to know you activities, orientation to the course and all the necessary Cambridge admin (of which there's a lot) and in the afternoon they have their first 45 min observation of an experienced teacher and a session on classroom management. Every course is designed differently of course, but this is what happens here.
