Jesus

This is not a recent photo, nor is it technically well done. It is, however, dear to me. My son and I visited our sponsored child in Guatemala in 2012. The churches there have the most graphic and repulsive figures. This corpus of Jesus breaks my heart. In the US, our crucifixes are so purified, so clean. The reality, is not pretty nor is it clean. Even without the belief in Jesus as The Son of God, the historical relevance of this event speaks for itself. Human fear. Human love. Human loss.
I happen to believe that Jesus gave His life for all human sin and rose from the dead three days later.
Wouldn't it be wonderful if the world today reflected the love that this man wanted us to share? Look at the picture.
