Morning Mist

Alas the final day of our photographic holiday in the Lake District. Despite a forecast of mainly rain it turned out ok and the low cloud cover over Grasmere this morning created a lovely serene atmosphere. Having spent a few very enjoyable hours by the lake we paid Rydal Cave a visit before heading back to Braithwaite.

A final dinner (I really shouldn't have had those two puddings!) and the last session to review each of our ten selected images of the day, plus a top ten each for the week.

A really fantastic holiday with good company and excellent hosts. I not only learned lots about photography in wonderful surroundings but I must have put on more than a few pounds in weight from Gail's superb home-made cooking. Just one more full English breakfast to go!
