Waiting for Jesus

A full church at St Laurence's Scalby Scarborough will
follow its Vicar in the next few minutes as he walks
alongside this donkey through the Church gates and
along the village High Street. This is Good Friday and
the symbolic procession of Jesus and the donkey
through the crowd who had scattered leaves in its
path spoke for the meaning of Easter and the hope
that it brings to all mankind.
