Kents Cavern

This morning we went to Torquay to visit the Global Geopark known as Kents Cavern.  These are caves date back to the stone age where evidence of human, bear and hyena residents from the ice age were found.

We had a conducted tour which lasted about an hour. It was well worth a visit, there is a cafe and woodland walk too.

The light was not very good down there as is to be expected so it was difficult to take a decent photo. But hopefully this collage will give a flavour.
