The view you would have if he was eating your arm

Having had the excitement of seeing Asiatic lions living free in Gujarat , India, it was sad to see this two year old lad and his brother living in Bristol Zoo  even though they have a large enclosure and plenty to do.  However, as an endangered species (there are only about 350 left who live in a reserve) these two lions in Bristol zoo and their mother  (who has gone to  live with a different mate in Belgium) are part of a breeding program designed to improve the gene pool.  This leg of lamb had been suspended on an elastic rope so he had to jump to get it , pull it down and wrestle with it while he lay on his back until he finally got his claws round and in it. Was pleased with this as it was taken through rather dirty glass.
