Well here's something that I didn't know; 
The Magna Carta was signed here; June 1215 
and is importantly recognised as the first constitution which protected us all, and our freedom by law.

This in turn influenced the formation of the American Constitution in 1789, which became the supreme law of the land in the new republic of the United States.

This acre of land was given to America... so I was officially on American soil taking this piccie.

There will be massive celebrations mid-June 2015 too.
