Infected tick bite?

J showed me this last night at about 8pm after the doctor's surgeries closed for their longest (4day) break in the year. Luckily my life saving nurse neighbour and I identified this as a potential infected tick bite and we know Lymes disease is prevalent in the lakes. The result was that J got an appointment at midnight with the fantastic out of hours service, and was sent away with a 2 week course of antibiotics to fend off Lymes. Blooming ticks. Beware out there, the complications of Lymes are not good. God bless the NHS!
