Haugh of Urr

We received a text from Anne to say that her mother, Barbara, was not too well and headed up to Scotland to see her. Barbara is 90 and was my first "proper" boss, when we worked together at Ferguslie Park, Paisley. Since then she has morphed into a very good friend. When she and Steve retired, they moved from Glasgow to Haugh of Urr in Dumfriesshire, and this is their view.

Steve died a few years ago, and for the last couple of years Barbara has lived in a nursing home nearby. We have been able to visit and take her out. Now, it is clear that she does not have long to live. But she seems very peaceful.
