Tranformation

About two weeks ago my next door neighbor said she had a swallowtail caterpillar on her butterfly plant (milkweed).   When she showed it to me, I told her it look very much like the Monarch caterpillar that had been shown to me in the gardens of San Juan Capistrano Mission.

Any day now, maybe tomorrow, a beautiful Monarch will emerge.   We hope to see it.
