Memories

Today would have been Ruby Mae's first birthday but sadly she was born sleeping.

Such a sad day in so many ways and if I'm honest a day when even I cannot understand. There is nothing worse than your child's pain and feeling helpless as a parent as nothing you say gives any comfort.

We all went up to say hello today and this seemed to be the most appropriate blip - the children's memorial garden where she's laid to rest. It's beautiful and such a peaceful place to be.
