Conservatory

This was the first Thursday of the month where the Museums are free, so I by passed Derelict Thursday in favor of this. 
The conservatory was originally built 1912 and modeled after the Crystal Palace in London and shipped in from Massachusetts and then assembled by Seattle city employees.  the overall design was done by the Olmstead brothers, who designed New York's Central Park.   There are 3 such conservatories in the United States.  One here, the other in Tacoma  and the third in San Francisco, Ca.   
It was a pretty nice day today, clouds, rain and sun.  Oh,  just like yesterday!
