28 years later

Hard to imagine what it must feel like to love a tune but never know what it is and who plays it.

I was given a cassette called Summer Madness by a barman in the Gilded Balloon in 1987. There were no titles but amazing tracks some I knew others I wasn't bothered about. But one track which has rattled round my head ever since sums up that era, even though it was released in 64.

Tonight the wonders of old tape decks and new technology combined and 10 seconds of the tune it was identified.

So here is one of my favourite tunes ever.
