The Passover meal.....

We have just got home from a Maundy Thursday service, always the Thursday before Easter, and were reminded again of the Passover Supper celebrated by Jesus and his disciples the evening before he was crucified. 

This beautiful knitted scene is in the barber's window in the high street and I think I have used it before, but it is so appropriate for today. (I've just noticed the cockerel! Think that's new!)

Earlier today we had a wonderful lunch at a local, very smart fine -dining restaurant; a gift from friends and so appreciated. It also meant another day of no cooking chez nous! Way to go!
