Leader's Debate

A very busy day, and I've got a busy evening, so it seemed a bit mad to come home via Media City.

But I wanted to see how what Media City looked like prior to the Leader's debate. It was fascinating. Lots of journalists, the commentariat, and politicos. There was a buzz in the air - those were the helicopters above. And a big queue outside the studios - that audience for the evening's event.

Standing back from all this politics, it's fantastic that this event is happening in Salford and Greater Manchester and not London. Who would have thought that a few years ago.
