Avakas Gorge

And so to the final day of walking, tomorrow is driving and ancient sites.

Today we broke all rules by us sharing around a bottle of red grappa before we started the walk.

A leisurely stroll of 14 miles starting off in the mist taking us down through flower filled meadows towards the sea. A diversion into Avakas Gorge straight after lunch was worth it. Normally the walk would be through the gorge but due to rainfall we took the alternative route.

We ended up at the Westend Hotel... Time for a shower and out for a beer feeling sad that the walking is over.
