My take on Kantha work

It's Create and Craft again on Saturday so I'm very busy preparing the stuff to take. We will probably make quilted cards but I'm hoping one or two of the women will get enthused and will want to make a Kantha mat.
I made this one a few years ago and my daughter has it on her piano. My daughter in law has the other one I made.
