Happy Birthday Grandad

It would have been my Grandad's 83rd Birthday today, this is the medal he was awarded for the time he spent in Malaysia back in the 60s on a peacekeeping mission whilst serving in the Army. I actually had to collect the medal on his behalf which was a great honour.

The thing that made me laugh was when I asked him what he'd done in Malaysia he told me he'd done "sod all!" I think he must have done a bit more than that, he was always very proud of his military career and I'll always miss his stories of his time in the Army.
