..'If we can identify the frass,' says J' we can work out what insect is building these leaf nests'.
Puzzled stares all round as J peers  at the specks of what looks like dirt clumped on the leaves that have been stuck together.

And so to 'frass'. Insect poo (yes another poo blip!) as opposed to animal scat.
