Would you climb this?

The precarious ladder on the church I mentioned yesterday was still there today. I'm ok with heights but I definitely don't fancy this! Look large to see how you'd have to climb from one ladder to another near the top.

There was no one around so I couldn't find out why the ladder is there or what work needs to be done on the spire.
