Merlin and the Drip.

Steady progress was being maintained when we went into visit the lad this morning, though he still can't go further than the tube on his drip will allow and, since he has a steady flow of fluid going in, there is also a steady flow coming out. His bedding was changed twice while we were there.

This afternoon, he had a camera (with a litter-picker attached) stuck down his throat and into his stomach, they removed eight pieces of tennis ball and three sticks. It still seems unlikely that this debris was the cause of his problem, but it could have significantly shortened his life had it remained there. We now have the problem of preventing him from eating such delicacies in the future and, having had a dog that could extrude (should that be intrude?) a rabbit through his muzzle, we realise that it might not be an easy task.
