Buckle up!

Is it underwear? Corset is...

Taken in the Victorian dressing up area at the Fashion Museum in Bath today. We passed through there at least three times in our quest to find the 1925 dress that we needed to finish the sticker trail.

There's a lot of thought gone into producing a corset that can withstand regular tryings-on by members of the public. These ones did up with laces at the back and buckles at the front that really reminded me of Friday nights at sailing cadets when I was much younger, doing up my buoyancy aid every week.
