Glamorous camping

We glamped last night which we were really looking forward to. However it was a day and night of gale force winds which dampened our spirits.

When we reached the glamp site we were told we couldn't light the wood burning fires as it was a breach of health and safety. Of course we obeyed their orders.... until 9.30pm when I could actually see my breath. Enough was enough and I was lighting the fire. It kept going out... I went and raided another tent for their fire lighters and kindling to start our fire again. It worked and it burned until 4.30am. Of course when we woke up at 9 am the tent was freezing.

Neither of us even got dressed, we packed our stuff, jumped in the car and went home to our heated house! !
