Beauty and the Beast

Trip to see friends today in some challenging weather conditions- my hair was not impressed!
Needless to say we spent a fair amount of time drinking coffee in the warmth of Costa.
Trek through town so lil' sis' could spend the rest of her birthday cash meant I was laden with shopping bags! I thought I was going to take off at one point due to the intensity of the wind.
Took this blip whilst feeding the swans with my friend's little one- I feel pigeons were not dealt an even hand when the beauty was dished out.
Finally home to build and fill the new book case that eventually arrived this morning.
Packed lil' sis' off to bed then commenced packing for our road trip to Granny's tomorrow.
