A Happy Ending

It was a hard decision, but after having Daisy for four days we decided to take her home.  She is the most lovable, well behaved dog, so you'll probably ask why?

A few months after losing Louis, Milou and Bobbie came into our lives, and have brought us so much pleasure.  Then after bringing Daisy into the pack, they changed - they accepted her and they all got on well together, but the boys have been quieter.  Where they would normally curl up with us on the sofa, Daisy was doing that instead.  And all in all, we found that working full time, having three was too much for us, and we don't want the boys to feel pushed out, so we made the difficult decision to take her home.

We said from the start that we would just have her for a few days to see how it went, and If I'd have followed my heart she'd still be here, but we felt it was the right thing to do.  When we met Elaine tonight, she looked so happy - she said that she's missed Daisy and she's decided to keep her. So in the end, she's back where she belongs, we can still see her and she's welcome to come and stay.

Before she left us I asked Alan to take some photos of me with her, and this is our favourite.  Back home and the boys seem to be back to normal, so all's  well that ends well :-)
