Blue sky

As I left for work this morning, it was windy, but quite sunny.  I thought to myself "I'll be able to get some photos on the way home".  Then, as I was leaving the "shop floor" and going up to my office, the clouds were massing, and I thought "photos might be darker, but interesting".  But as I sat at my desk catching up on a bit of admin, the heavens opened and I thought "oh well, I'm not getting wet for the sake of a Blip!"

But the rain and hail passed through very rapidly - driven by the fierce wind, no doubt - and half an hour later, it was bright sunshine again.  But it was windy.

When I got home, having stopped just down the road for some pictures, I was cursing the wind.  I am amazed at how blue the sky was.
