Windswept Dove ...

Again a day with code yellow and even orange in the coastal provinces of the Lowlands near the sea.

In the backyard the fierce wind blew an (older) wood pigeon from one of the tall conifers. Apparently the pigeon injured the right wing. Stayed for a while beside the pond in this position.
 
When I took another look after half an hour the bird had flown ... ;-)
