A Real Life White Knuckle Ride

At one point this afternoon, I wasn't convinced I would make it home from work this evening as the wind seemed to have wreaked havoc across the area and had shut both the bridges across the Humber and Ouse..my two routes home! Luckily for me they soon reopened the Humber Bridge...but crossing it in gale force winds felt like a real-life white knuckle ride...

We certainly had every kind of weather today and as well as the high winds we had rain storms and sunshine, I didn't manage to capture the rainbow as the rain was blown through so quickly but I think I captured the sun and the storm clouds...
