Test Tie

Just before we went away my brother asked me to knit him a tie.  He had bought one which cost a fortune. 

The reason this is a test one is because it is a new stitch to me, linen stitch, and I don't really have a pattern so it thought it would be best to try it out with a ball of wool which cost a couple of pounds rather than the silk/wool mix which costs nearer £10 a ball.

I will let you know how it goes.

Not feeling 100%, really thought I was going to be sick about half an hour ago, it seems to have passed but no dinner or drinks tonight other than water.
