Sorry - could not resist getting that fish-eye lens out again.

This is the famous Riverside Stadium where the England U21 team beat the German U21 team last night 3-2 in front to 30,178 folk. That team are managed by Gareth Southgate – an ex-Boro Player and Manager – and the team will play in the European Championships this summer.

 

The Riverside is the home of Middlesbrough FC – The BORO – and this Friday the fixtures re-start for the final 7 games of the season. Everything hangs on those 21 points available – and hopefully Boro will be promoted to the English Premier League next season.

At that time The Riverside Stadium will be 20 years old.

 My nerves will be shreaded – but I know that our secret weapon will see us through.
