Dolly in Chiang Mai

We made it safely to Chiang Mai, although we ended up at the wrong side of Dubai airport about a mile from where we needed to be and we had some pretty rough turbulence on the flight between Dubai and Bangkok! Stef and Phil were waiting for us at the airport, they had a songatheaw (pronounced songtow) waiting to take us home, an interesting experience! We dropped of our bags at their house and had a bit of a catch up before heading out for dinner! Stef booked us a table at a riverside restaurant, which was lovely, and then we explored the night market! Headed home on a tuktuk, another interesting experience! Back home now and ready for bed, only slept 4hrs out of the last 42hrs, hopefully we'll wake up without jet lag in the morning!
